Parula Sitapara, Practice Administrator

Parula Sitapara partners with Dr. Sitapara in their private life and their professional endeavors.  Sharing in the vision that Signature Medicine is not your typical medical practice, Parula manages the service of Signature Medicine.  With a Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, Parula also adds keen capability for how technology can enhance operations and create expanded communication resources for patients.  Parula handles all billing, insurance and patient relations within the practice.   And while not busy with the practice, Parula is an active member of the community and very involved in the lives of her three children.  She is currently involved with the Newtown Business Professional Association, founder of EchoScribe Inc, a medical transcription company.  Parula’s is also the founder of Newtown Medspa, Newtown’s first luxury medical spa, offering many skin enhancing noninvasive procedures.

Jenn Aker, Medical Assistant

Jenn is a NCCT Certified Medical Assistant trained at Harris School of Business. She is certified in First Aid, Operating electrocardiography (ECG) machinery and graph interpretation Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Jenn is devoted to the care of the patients at Signature Medicine and been with the practice over 10 years.  She performs key clinical and administrative procedures in order to help medical practices run smoothly and more effectively. Jenn ensures that health services are available to those who need it, and she works tirelessly to help patients get the care that they need. A memorable moment in her career was when she helped save a 19yrs old young man’s life by acting quickly in providing the essential treatment .

Breana Bevan CRNP

Breana is an experienced Certified Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner, practicing adult primary care in the area for many years. She possesses nearly a decade of experience delivering high quality primary care, performing physicals, wellness visits, and managing adult acute and chronic care conditions.  She has been with Signature Medicine over 4 years.  Prior to becoming a Nurse Practioner, she worked at Abington Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She is by nature a caring, giving, intelligent, empathetic provider with always your best interests at heart. With her excellent clinical and communication skills, she works with Dr. Sitapara to deliver you the highest standard of medical care.  Breana handles the whole range of primary care problems is available to see same-day sick visits. She lives locally in Newtown with her husband and young son Nolan.

Crystal Mckeown MA

Crystal is a Medical Assistant who works closely alongside Jenn to assist with all the medical assisting responsibilities. Crystal brings experience having worked at another primary care practice.   She is a well experienced phlebotomist; as many of our patients can already attest to. She brings a positive attitude, energy, and is a self described people person with always a smile. She loves helping people, both young and old and being there for time in their times of need.  Crystal looks forward to meeting you at your next appointment, or answering you when you call or email. She partners with Jenn to deliver the best healthcare service.
